Halloween In Newton Ferrers and Yealmpton

The Newton Ferrers and Yealmpton office took great pride in Halloween this year by decorating their windows in fantastic fashion. Here are some pictures to show how we commit to the community spirit.

Kingsbridge Show
6.09.08

Our stand at Kingsbridge Show on 6 September was a resounding success despite the weather the day before, which created some interesting ground conditions which resembled scenes from a ‘muddy Glastonbury’.

With our stand in a prime location near the main stand there were a large number of past, current and plenty of future clients who joined us on the stand to enjoy our refreshments and a friendly chat.

Our exhibition of residential, commercial and agricultural properties for sale, together with a list of our professional services was well received, and generated some useful leads for the business.

Some photographs showing parts of the stand and those that helped on the day are shown below.

Thank you very much to everyone who joined us on the stand and especially to Mr Stumbles senior for supplying the excellent scones and cream. (These were very popular).  Congratulations to Mrs Ann Barons, from East Allington, who won the draw from the entries in the ‘Architectural Eras’ competition.

Yealmpton Show Wednesday 30.07.08

Despite the early rain and constant threat throughout the day of further showers, our Trade Stand at this superb local show proved to be the usual honeypot for those wishing to peruse property for sale,  discuss professional services, identify land for sale or generally catch up on the latest market trends and our opinions on the future.

Our staff thoroughly enjoy meeting and greeting clients and customers (past, present and future) and this wonderful day is a fantastic opportunity for us to enjoy your company in a relaxed and entertaining environment.   A huge thank you to everyone that joined us and congratulations to Mrs Jenkins from Newton Ferrers whose name was drawn from the hat of winners in the ‘Architectural Eras’ competition.

Walk for Breast Cancer Care
14th June 2008

On Saturday 14th June, Rebecca Staddon, South Brent Sales Manager, completed a 20-mile walk with her Mum raising money for Breast Cancer Care.

The walk started and finished in the grounds of Petworth House in the South Downs, and followed a route through the countryside and villages in the local area.

The Green Goddess warmed up the 1000 walkers before the start of the walk at 9.30 am.  Rebecca said “it was quite a sight to see over 1000 ladies all in pink t-shirts marching across the countryside.”

The pair completed their walk in just over 6 hours, including comfort stops, and arrived back in the grounds of Petworth House, to be greeted by a Jazz Band, and lots of supporters.

To raise funds Rebecca and her Mum organised a successful cream tea afternoon at their home, and together with donations and sponsorship have raised nearly £1,000 for the charity.
