Show Season is Upon Us ...

Yes, summer is here and with it comes the excitement of the local and county shows. With two of Devon's most popular being the South Hams very own Totnes and District Agricultural Show, and the Yealmpton Show, both at the end of July. Why not make a real week of it and get out and about to both ... http://www.luscombemaye.co.uk/yealmptonandtotnesshows.php

Yealmpton Agricultural Show Kitley Lawns, Yealmpton Wednesday 28th July 2010 www.yealmptonshow.com

Once again Luscombe Maye will be taking a trade stand at the Yealmpton Agricultural Show and also at the Totnes and District Show which this year takes place on the Sunday before Yealmpton. We shall be pleased to welcome you and to discuss the current state of the housing and agricultural marketplace in a relaxed, informal atmosphere over a glass of wine or beer. Between the two days there will be a wide range of entertainment offering up a slice of rural life, including displays by the White Helmets Motor Cycle display team (Totnes) and the Cornwall Diggers (Yealmpton) as well as Pony Club mounted games, dog agility demonstrations and a huge range of competitive classes - from the Dog Show to Homecraft, Donkeys to Pets, to Pigs, Cattle, Sheep and Goats, Show Jumping to Horticulture and dozens of trade and food stalls.
We look forward to seeing you, our stands are easily found overlooking the main display ring.

Work Placement News 2010

Congratulations to Abigail who spent a week with us in June experiencing the ins-and-outs of the estate agency world. Abi was seeking  a career change and needed an insight in to our way of life.

Abi has now accepted a job with a local firm of Estate Agents in Ivybridge and we wish her every success in her new role. Had we had the correct position available ourselves we would willingly have accepted Abi in to our own business.

We also look forward to welcoming Emily from Ivybridge Community College in to our work placement scheme this summer.

If you are interested in work experience with Luscombe Maye please email mike.luffingham@luscombemaye.com in the first instance, mentioning this web page.
