South Brent, for many people is an unknown village, located only 5 miles from Ivybridge.  Originally a wool and market centre, with two annual fairs and a mainline train station, South Brent is located within the Dartmoor National Park, and just off the A38, making it perfect for those wanting to live in a real community, yet have the excellent transport links that the A38 provides.

 

When people do decide to venture off the main road and into the square they will find what can only be described as a thriving village, with a mix of flourishing day to day shops and businesses, and located as it is within the Dartmoor National Park, the views are quite special, and ever changing as the seasons progress.

South Brent Primary School is also very popular, as are the two pre-schools available.  Secondary education from South Brent is either to KEVICCS in Totnes or Ivybridge Community College, which has an outstanding OFSTED report, and there is transport available to both schools.
