Holbeton

A substantial village set back a little from the beautiful wooded shores of the river Erme estuary, amid quite unspoiled country. The coastal scenery of the parish is also most attractive. Only nine miles east of Plymouth and somewhat off the beaten track, its mixture of small thatched and stone cottages includes two pubs, a post office, a primary school, a church, a village hall and a local store.
