One thing I can categorically state is that character cottages never lose their charm. An old property with all its quirks and eccentricities is not everyone’s cup of tea and sometimes, if you think about it, once you’ve bought your cottage and moved in you will spend very little time outside in the road looking at it and yet that kerbside appeal is so important.
