For villages the list is almost endless and our territory stretches from Down Thomas and Heybrook Bay on the edge of Plymouth Sound in the west to Berry Pomeroy, where the famous ghost of the White Lady still haunts the castle dungeons, in the east and from Dartmoor’s Shaugh Prior in the north to Prawle Point with its oddly named Pig’s Nose Inn and the Start Point Lighthouse in the south.
